Mapping myth

In the continuation of Project "Metamorphosis", I explored the physical locations of the metamorphosis myths under the theme "location". The mythical flora and fauna were then depicted in frames, with each frame reflecting the specific shape of the location. My inspiration came mainly from old botanical books, where the detailed illustrations and descriptions of plants and landscapes provided a rich visual reference. I used the same painting and embroidery techniques as in the original project, which ensured a harmonious integration of the new works with the earlier designs. The resulting ten images were merged into a large, detailed map of myths. This map forms a visual and narrative whole that links mythological stories and transformations to their geographical origins.
